Lisa Hershaft

Lisa Hershaft has been teaching music classes since 1996.  She received her BA in Music Education from Ithaca College and has a Masters in Social Work with a focus on children and families.  Lisa has been working in the early childhood setting as both a music educatior and social worker for over nine years.  She was certified in Kindermusik in 1995 and has received Orff-Schulwerk training.  Lisa sings professionally and has soloed with various midwestern choirs and opera companies.  Lisa's first memories of music were sitting under the piano while her father played all her favorite songs.  She now loves playing for her own children and sharing some of these favorite tunes with her son and daughter.
